Takkada and Biz Analyst both connect TallyPrime or Tally ERP 9 to a phone, show your Tally reports, create vouchers that post back into Tally, run a salesman mode with geo-tagged visit check-ins, and send payment reminders on WhatsApp. Across the 19 distributor features in this comparison, Takkada offers 18 and Biz Analyst offers 10, based on each app's public pages and our own product. Biz Analyst is ahead on one: its app keeps your data on the phone and works offline, which Takkada does not. Takkada adds more of the distributor's day: a browser version, cancelling an e-invoice or e-way bill from the phone, a dispatch loading sheet, a customer ordering link, AI voice calls to overdue parties, a zero-MDR UPI link on the invoice, and payments matched back into Tally. Pricing is shaped differently too. Biz Analyst bills per mobile device per Tally licence, and Takkada bills per business with extra users added on top.
What is Takkada?
Takkada is a mobile and web app for Indian distributors that run their books in TallyPrime or Tally ERP 9. It connects the whole distribution day to Tally: salesman order booking, sales invoices, delivery challans, dispatch loading, WhatsApp delivery of invoices, UPI payment links with 0% MDR, automatic payment reminders on WhatsApp and email, AI voice calls, and automatic matching of payments to invoices. Every entry made in Takkada posts back into Tally, and your Tally data files stay on your own computer. Some of these are plan features and some are add-ons; the table below says which.
What is Biz Analyst?
Biz Analyst is a Tally companion app for Android and iOS. It shows Tally reports such as daybook, ledgers, sales analysis and order analysis on mobile, lets users create sales invoices, orders, receipts, delivery notes, purchases and payments that sync into Tally, and has a sales-team mode with geo-tagged check-in/out and limited access for the sales team. It supports unlimited companies, stores data on the phone so it works offline, and sends payment reminders on WhatsApp, SMS and email.

Neither app follows the salesman's phone all day. Both record where he was at the moment he checked in at a customer, which is the question an owner usually needs answered. If you are weighing the two on that point, our piece on visit photos and all-day GPS covers the difference.

Invoices and reminders from your own WhatsApp number
With Takkada, invoices and payment reminders can go out from your own WhatsApp Business number, so the retailer sees your firm's name and replies to you, the same number he already saves and trusts. This is an add-on, and Meta bills the messages to you directly. Biz Analyst sends automatic WhatsApp and SMS messages through credits you buy from them, and we did not find sending from the customer's own number on its public pages. Reminders also go out by email, and an AI voice call can follow up with parties who do not respond.
Where Biz Analyst is ahead
Biz Analyst keeps your data on the phone, so a salesman in a market with no signal can still open it. Takkada needs a connection on the phone. Biz Analyst also has a larger user base and a bigger partner network, which usually means local support in more towns. If either of those decides it for your team, it is worth saying so on a demo call.
How the two are priced
Biz Analyst bills per mobile device per Tally licence, with plans on its pricing page starting at ₹3,300 a year per device, GST extra. Each extra phone is another subscription. Takkada bills per business: the Momentum plan is ₹4,500 a year with one user, GST extra, and each extra person is an add-on. For a single owner checking his books, per-device billing is usually cheaper. Once four or five people carry the app, a per-business plan normally works out lower. Our Biz Analyst alternative page walks through the collection side in more detail.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between Takkada and Biz Analyst?
A: Both apps connect Tally to mobile. Biz Analyst covers Tally reports on mobile, multiple companies, vouchers that post into Tally, a sales-team mode and payment reminders, and it works offline. Takkada also offers browser access, cancelling an e-invoice or e-way bill from the phone, a customer ordering link and a dispatch loading sheet, plus UPI collection with automatic matching into Tally.
Q: Is Takkada an alternative to Biz Analyst?
A: Yes. Takkada covers the Biz Analyst features listed in this comparison except offline use, and adds 9 more for distributors, including sending from your own WhatsApp number, browser access, and payments auto-matched to invoices with bank statement import.
Q: Does Biz Analyst have UPI payment links on invoices?
A: We did not find UPI payment links or automatic payment matching on Biz Analyst's public website (checked November 2026). With the Payment Collection add-on, Takkada puts a UPI payment link on the invoice at 0% MDR and matches the payment to the invoice automatically.
Q: Does Biz Analyst support e-invoice and e-way bill?
A: Yes, Biz Analyst has added e-invoice and e-way bill generation, though its public pages did not show it yet when we checked in November 2026. Takkada generates e-invoices with IRN and QR and e-way bills from the phone, can cancel either from the same screen, and writes both back into Tally.
Q: Does Takkada work with TallyPrime and Tally ERP 9?
A: Yes. Takkada works with TallyPrime and Tally ERP 9 through a connector on the Windows PC where Tally runs. Every invoice created in Tally appears in Takkada, and every entry made in Takkada posts back into Tally.
Q: Which Tally mobile app can make AI calls to collect payments?
A: Takkada places AI voice calls to customers about their dues as an add-on module billed per connected minute, alongside automatic reminders on WhatsApp and email.
Q: Does my Tally data move to the cloud with Takkada?
A: Takkada syncs with the Tally installed on your own computer. Your data files stay where they are today. Stop using Takkada and your Tally keeps working exactly as before.
